On July 26, the First Half of 2019 Press Conference of Trading Information for Power Electric Market was held at Shandong Power Trading Center during which the first half year's trading information of power market was released and power trading work of the next phase was arranged and deployed.
In the first half year, the total electricity consumption of the whole Province has reached 300.85 billion KWH, up 3.75% compared with the same period of last year. Among them, the electricity consumption of the primary industry increased at a low speed, reaching 3.886 billion KWH, up 9.71% compared with the same period of last year; the electricity consumption of the secondary industry grew slightly, reaching 229.184 billion KWH, up 1.93% compared with the same period of last year; the electricity consumption of the tertiary industry grew rapidly, reaching 34.111 billion KWH, up 10.50% from the same period of last year; the electricity consumption of urban and rural residents for living grew at a low speed, reaching 33.667 billion KWH, up 9.64% over the same period of last year.
In the first half year, Shandong has received accumulative power outside the Province of 40.265 billion KWH, an increase of 18.92% from the same period of last year; Among them, 14.478 billion KWH was received from North China power grid, up 7.32 % compared with the same period of last year; received 16.628 billion KWH was from Northwestern China power grid, up 25 % compared with the same period of last year; nearly 9.159 billion KWH was received from Northeastern China power grid, up 29.63 % compared with the same period of last year. The whole Province's accumulative absorption of cross-province and cross-region renewable energy (hydropower, wind power and solar power) was 8.465 billion KWH, an increase of 68.52% compared with the same period of last year. Among them, electric quantity of wind power reached 6.897 billion KWH, up 80.79% compared with the same period of last year; electric quantity of photovoltaic was 719 million KWH, up 78.41% compared with the same period of last year. Absorptive electric quantity of new energy accounted for 89.97% of the renewable energy.
Next, Shandong will continue to make good organization work for cross-province and cross-region power trading to ensure the full implementation of external power into Shandong; The work of direct trading of power should be made steadily; trading management of "open, justice and fair" dispatch should be strengthened; relevant expense settlements should be accurately finished on time; the technology supporting capacity of power trading platform should be enhanced.
